WICHITA, Kan. - Rise Up For Youth, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering high school students in Wichita, is pleased to announce its upcoming Hoops and Hopes Basketball Tournament fundraiser on June 3 at Wichita Hoops. More details to come.
The family-friendly event promises to be a fun and meaningful way to spend a summer day with friends and family. Attendees will enjoy exciting basketball games, delicious food, and a unique silent auction with fantastic prizes. But more importantly, they will have the opportunity to empower high school students in the community by supporting mentorship. |
"Hoops and Hopes will be our first ever annual basketball fundraising tournament," said Rise Up For Youth Executive Director, Dr. Shareika Fisher. "We are excited to invite the community to celebrate the All-Star teens we serve through Rise Up for Youth during this interactive event."
In addition to basketball and food, the Hoops and Hopes Basketball Tournament will also include a silent auction with a variety of fantastic prizes. Attendees can bid on local and sports-themed baskets.
